Season Plot Summary: Jim finally proposes to Pam, who accepts; but their relationship is put on hold as she goes to a designer course. Ryan returns to Dunder Mifflin but vows to the camera that he will return 'to power', and begins back at Dunder Mifflin where he resumes his relationship with Karen. After corporate finds out about Michael and Holly, Holly is sent back to Nashua branch, bringing back Toby as Scranton's HR rep.
After learning that Dwight had an affair with Angela, Andy and Dwight duel. But both 'break up' with Angela after they both learn that she slept with them both. Michael resigns after his style clashes with the new Vice Presidents'. Doing what Michael does best, he retaliates and creates the Michael Scott Paper Company, and gets both Ryan and Pam to join. Feeling threatened, cooperate buys out Michael's paper company, and each get there jobs back at Scranton. We are left with a cliffhanger though:
