SYNOPSIS

Andy talks to Jim about making an Employee of the Month award. It turns out that Dwight is behind the whole idea. It's part of his plot to get Jim fired. He gives Jim a sheet to tabulate the scores. Dwight goes around and collects $20 from everyone for the award. Jim calls out the anonymous number and it ends up being him. Everyone gets mad. He picks the next number on the list and it's Pam. Just then a cake arrives with Jim's face on it. Dwight calls David and leaves messages in all the different voices of the office workers. David calls and starts to chew out Jim but then apologizes, to Dwight's horror.

Michael is in trouble because he promised 3rd graders ten years ago that he'd pay for their college tuition. Erin accompanies him to the school and they've assembled a thank you celebration for him. Lots of people give heartfelt speeches and Michael begins crying. He is called up for a speech. He says he's proud but he can't pay for their tuition. He tries to give them laptop batteries instead. On the way out, one student convinces him to pay for his books. On the way back to the office, Erin and Michael finally bond.

Ryan tells Dwight he found his master plan, and he wants in and will help take Jim down.

Michael: What do you want from this job, provided the company doesn't go out of business.
Erin: I've always wondered what it might be to be an accountant.
Michael: Really.
Erin: Yes, but I'm terrible at math. So.
Michael: You know when I hired Kevin, he was actually applying for a job in the warehouse.
Erin: Seriously?
Michael: Yeah. I just sort of had a feeling about him. I have a feeling about you too.
